'ABUSED' - THE SHORT FILM THAT FIGHTS FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN HITS THE PUBLIC TODAY -TUESDAY 3RD APRIL 2018

The short film entitled 'ABUSED' reaches the general public today. 

ABUSED

Basically the concept of this movie is based on the issues of violence against women, which is happening across the globe.

Today, about 67% of women world wide are being abused.

Violence & Abuse can come in many different forms. Domestic Violence includes abuse that is physical, sexual, emotional, economic, psychological, dating-related, focused on children and the elderly. Most of which are Africans that travel abroad to live with total strangers and work as house helps or nannies all in the name of making a living.

The act is getting out of hand and if not looked at... would be pretty much more devastating than it is now, that is why DELA FINN the director of DELAND FILMS  has come about with this educative and award winning film to help fight voilence against women.

'ABUSED' is a short narrative film which tells the story of a lady - DZIFA who suffered domestic violence and lost her baby in the process. Three (3) years later, after rebuilding herself, DZIFA decides to empower other women going through similar situation by narrating her trauma and advising to the general public.

The short but enticing film 'ABUSED' is  starring Joyce Everest,NelsonMandelaJnr ,Rebecca Wornu,Nomo Esther Dede,Celestina E. Dogbey,Kpodo Rose.Nana Yaa Danso, and Gloria S. Britwum.
