XYLOFONE CEO APOLOGIES TO STONEBWOY

Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of ZYLOFON Media, has apologised to Stonebwoy for a Champs Bar confrontation between the artist and A & R manager Bulldog (Laurence Nana Asiamah Hanson). The unfortunate incident, which happened last Saturday during a Kelvin Boy gig, reportedly led to violent attacks and gunplay.
Eyewitnesses narrate that Bulldog and his men to seize Stonebwoy’s Mercedes Benz when the singer’s younger brother went to get something from the vehicle. The car key was reportedly snatched from him, together with a wallet containing about GHC 5000.
But narrating his side of the story on Zylofon FM days later, Bulldog indicated that he didn’t engage in any act of violence at the bar like was widely -reported, but only went to the venue in the company of Zylofon Media’s transport manager to retrieve a Hyundai Sonata, as is company policy, rather fingering Stonebwoy’s camp for instigating violence against him.
In a statement via social media, Nana Appiah Mensah divulged his regret at the incident, emphasising that he abhors such conduct, especially by the company’s transport manager: “I apologize to team @stonebwoyb and all well wishers for the unfortunate ill incident that occurred. The transport manager exercised a discretion characterized by reflex and over exuberance. An act I vehemently condemn and discourage from our society”, he said.
The label boss also put to rest, endless rumours about Stonebwoy’s current status in the label. Responding to a follower who inquired whether or not Stonebwoy is still signed to Zylofon.
“He is still a Zylofon Media artist in a very good standing.”, Nana Appiah Mensah responded.
